NMIXX (엔믹스) is a six-member girl group under JYP Entertainment. Originally as seven, they debuted on February 22, 2022 with the single album "Ad Mare".
Their name NMIXX is a word made up of the letter "N", which means now, new, next and the unknown n, and the word "MIX", which symbolizes combination and diversity, meaning "the best combination for a new era".[2]
History[]
2021: Pre-debut[]
On July 8, 2021, SNS accounts for 'JYPn' were opened and a teaser titled "Blind Package" was revealed.[3] The next day, a second teaser was revealed, containing the phrase "Your Next Favorite Girl group" sparking rumors that JYP Entertainment would be debuting their new girl group soon.[4] Later the same day, JYP Entertainment confirmed that they would debut their new girl group in February 2022, and that a limited-edition debut single titled "Blind Package" would be sold for 10 days, July 16–25 and could only be purchased during the pre-sale period. The "Blind Package" would be sent when the group debuted in February 2022 and consisted of a limited edition CD, photo book, poster, premium membership card, a random polaroid and others.[5] On July 22, 2021, it was reported that the "Blind Package" had already reached 40,000 copies in its pre-order.[6] On July 27, 2021, JYP Entertainment reported that "Blind Package" had sold 60,000 copies after its pre-order ended.[7]
On August 6, JYP Entertainment released a video of 3 of the members, Jinni, Jiwoo, and Kyujin's Press dance cover on the JYPn YouTube channel.[8] On August 20, 2021, a new cover video of Jinni was released.[9][10]
On September 3, 2021, a cover of Sunmi's "Full Moon" was released, revealing new member Sullyoon.[11]
On October 1, 2021, it was announced that after two months since it's started, JYPn will enter the "Part 2 Promotion" and would introduce new content starting on October 8, 2021.[12] On October 8, 2021, a cover of Dua Lipa's "Break My Heart" was released, revealing new member Bae.[13]
On November 5, 2021, a cover of Stephanie Poetri's "I Love You 3000" was released, revealing new member Haewon.[14] On November 19, 2021, a cover of Bruno Mars "Finesse" was released, revealing the final member Lily.[15]
On December 10, 2021, JYP Entertainment confirmed all seven of the members and announced that the group would debut in February 2022.[16]
2022: Debut with "Ad Mare", "Entwurf", "Funky Glitter Christmas", Jinni's departure[]
On January 26, 2022, JYP Entertainment released a video titled "NICE TO MIXX YOU" revealing that the group would be called NMIXX and opened their social media accounts.[17][18] On January 27, a trailer for the group titled "New Frontier: Declaration" was released.[19] Lily was responsible for the narration of the video.[20] Later that day, a trailer for the group debut was released.,[21] and profile pictures of all 7 members were revealed.[22]

On February 3, 2022, a poster revealed that the group's first single album would be released on February 22, 2022 and would be called "Ad Mare".[23] The next day, a podcast-style album called "Now It's Time!: We are NMIXX" was released through Spotify, The group members talked about the concept and feelings felt through their first single.[24][25] On February 7, JYPE announced that the group would hold a showcase titled "NMIXX Debut Showcase [New Frontier: AD MARE]" at the Blue Square Mastercard Hall in celebration of their debut. Through JYP Fan's, 350 random fans residing in Korea were invited to the showcase. The showcase that was originally scheduled for the album's release day was postponed to March 1, after member Bae tested positive for COVID-19 and consequently led to all 6 other members going into self-quarantine.[26][27] On February 16, it was revealed that NMIXX would be featured on the March 2022 issue of Dazed Korea in partnership with Italian luxury brand Prada.[28][29]
On March 1, during their debut showcase, it was revealed that their fandom name would be 'NSWER'.
On August 21, a teaser posted on the group's SNS revealed their second single, titled "Entwurf", would be released on September 19.[30]
On November 11, a teaser poster was posted which revealed that NMIXX would be releasing their second digital single, "Funky Glitter Christmas", on November 23.[31]
On December 9, JYP Entertainment announced that Jinni would be departing the group and agency due to personal reasons and her contract with them has been terminated.[32]
2023: Expérgo, first showcase tour, "A Midsummer NMIXX’s Dream"[]

On February 6, 2023, NMIXX unveiled a new video hinting at an upcoming comeback.[33] On February 10, a motion poster was posted which revealed that NMIXX will be releasing their first EP, Expérgo, on March 20.[34]
On March 17, it was announced that NMIXX would have their first showcase tour, NMIXX Showcase Tour Nice To MIXX You, with the first date being May 5 in Seattle, Washington.[35]
On June 20, a motion poster was posted on the group's social media accounts which announced that NMIXX would be releasing their third single album, "A Midsummer NMIXX’s Dream", on July 11.[36]
2024: Fe3O4: Break, Fe3O4: Stick Out[]
On November 28, 2023, a motion poster was posted on the group's social media accounts which announced that NMIXX would be releasing their second EP, Fe3O4: Break, on January 15, 2024.[37] It was also revealed that the group would be releasing "Soñar (Breaker)" as the pre-release digital single from the album on December 4, 2023.
On May 3, it was reported that NMIXX would have a comeback in the summer.[38] On July 22, a motion poster was posted on the group's social media accounts which announced that NMIXX would be releasing their third EP, Fe3O4: Stick Out on August 19.[39]
2025: "High Horse", Fe3O4: Forward, Blue Valentine[]
On January 22, 2025, JYP Entertainment confirmed that NMIXX is currently preparing for their new album, scheduled for March.[40]
On Feburary 19, JYP Entertainment released a motion poster for the groups fourth EP, Fe3O4: Forward, set for release on March 17.[41] "High Horse" was pre-released on March 4.
On July 12, JYP Entertainment confirmed that NMIXX is preparing for their comeback aiming for an October release.[42] On September 15, NMIXX released a motion teaser for their first full-length album Blue Valentine set for release on October 13.[43]

- Lily is a former K-Pop Star 4 contestant, and voiced the female main character in the music video for "If You Do" by GOT7 in 2015.

- Each member has a different role which was revealed in the trailer for the "Entwurf" album through a NMIXX ADVENTURE rules video.[78]
