N.tic (엔티크) is a three-member boy group under Yechan Media. They debuted on February 26, 2018 with the single album "Once Again".

History[]

Pre-debut[]

At the beginning of 2016 the group known as "J-Peace", made up from Jion, Seunghoo and Hiemin, was performing in various concerts and festivals in South Korea, the group also performed in other countries such as Japan and China.

In later 2016, two new members Seungje and Chanhui joined the group, but they left them a few months later.

In April 2017, they announced a new member, Jinseo.

In the beginning of August 2017, Hiemin left the group for unknown reasons.

In the beginning of September 2017, they announced a new member, Sangwook, as the fourth member of the group.

On September 16, 2017, the new name of the group "New-Ace" was announced and the four official members who will be part of the group were revealed, but their agency revealed that they would not have their official debut until 2018.[1]

On December 29, 2017, the group's agency revealed that they would change their name in N.tic upon debut, because the name was considered similar to another group by some fans and they did not want to confuse the public, in addition the date of his official debut was confirmed, which would be on February 26.[2]

2018: Debut with "Once Again", Fandom name, "Do you Know, Who i Am?"[]

On February 20, 2018, they announced their official fandom name called "Unique" and the official color of the group, which would be purple.[3]

On February 26, they released the music video for their debut song Once Again along with the single of the same name. They were able to promote on music shows and on the radio. Promotions were short-lived.

On October 5, they announced that would make their first comeback with "Do You Know Who I Am?" on October 23, starting out by revealing teasers every day, member by member.[4]

On October 22, they released the teaser revealing a totally different concept from the previous one.

2019: "Fiction", new member, N.tic 2019 European Tour Fiction, N.tic 2019 Winter Tour in Japan - Takeoff, Sangwook's enlistment[]

On May 23, 2019, they announced that they would return by the end of June with their third album revealing also a new member, Dowon.[5]

On June 5, 2019, they announced that would make their third comeback with "Fiction" on June 23, starting out by revealing concept photos every day, member by member.[6]

On July 5, 2019, they revealed they would be going on their European tour N.tic 2019 European Tour Fiction. The group started off the tour with twelve dates across the Europe[7]

On October 1, 2019, they revealed they would be going on their Japanese tour N.tic 2019 Winter Tour in Japan - Takeoff. The group will started off the tour with four dates in Tokyo and Osaka.[8]

On November 4, 2019, they announced that Sangwook would be enlisting in the army on 26 November.[9]

2020: Dowon's departure, Jion, Seunghoo and Jinseo's enlistments[]

In 2020, they announced that Jion would be enlisting in the army.[citation needed]

On February 1, 2020, Dowon was removed from the group due to a contract conflict with another company.[citation needed]

In April 2020, they announced that Jinseo, through their fancafe, would be enlisting in the army on April 27.[citation needed]

In May 12, 2020, they announced, through their fancafe, that Seunghoo would be enlisting in the army on May 14.[10]

2021: Sangwook solo debut, Seunghoo's departure[]

On June 10, 2021, Sangwook announced his discharge, in addition he is going to prepare for a solo debut this fall.[11]

On July 11, 2021, he announced an event with the Japanese platform "CHEERZ" for recruiting a Japanese protagonist for his music video solo debut aiming to publish in October.[12]

On November 16, 2021, Seunghoo announced, through an Instagram post, that he had left the group.[citation needed]
