N.Topic (엔타픽), formerly known as TOP.IC (타픽), was a four-member girl group under HiCC. The group debuted on June 27, 2014 with the digital single "See You Again".

The group presumably disbanded silently in late 2015.

Their original group name was a combination of the words "Top", "Impression" and "Cheerful".[1]

History[]

2014: Debut as TOP.IC with "See You Again", comeback with "Not Pretty"[]

On June 27, 2014, the group debuted as TOP.IC with the digital single "See You Again". The lineup consisted of Sun.L, Yoon BeatNara, Jung Sungah and Park Juhyeon.[1]

On September 16, the group released their second digital single "Not Pretty".

2015: ARETE, name change to N.Topic, "First Snow" & disbandment[]

In October 2015, Sun and Park Juhyeon formed the project DJ team ARETE with DJ Miho.[2]

On December 21, they had their first release under the name N.Topic with the digital single "First Snow". Shortly after this, the group presumably disbanded silently sometime later due to inactivity.

Aftermath[]

Following their disbandment, the members went their separate ways.

  • Sun.L participated in MBN's Show King Night in 2023 and became a member of the winning team Koonzo Crew, who later made their debut on April 19, 2024 with the digital single "Boom Boom Boom".[3]
  • Yoon BeatNara returned to being a soloist, as well as being active as a musical actress and background vocalist.[4]
  • Sungah and Junhyung appear to have left the entertainment industry.
