Mun Ik (문익) is a South Korean former singer. He is a former member of the boy group DKZ and its first sub-unit DONGKIZ I:KAN.

Career[]

2018–2023: DKZ, DONGKIZ I:KAN[]

He debuted as a member of DKZ (then known as DONGKIZ) on April 24, 2019 with the single album "DONGKIZ On The Block".

He took part in the group's sub-unit DONGKIZ I:KAN along with fellow member Jae Chan which debuted on July 7, 2020 with the single album "Y.O.U".

On February 28, 2023, Dongyo Entertainment announced that Mun Ik eventually departed from DKZ following long hiatus from the group and discussions regarding his activities with the agency, although he would stay with the company.[1]

In an handwritten letter posted on his Instagram on July 31, Mun Ik announced that he has returned to his hometown Busan and that it will be difficult for him to comeback on stage although he will keep giving updates for those who supported him, hinting at the end of his career as an idol.[2]

On August 24, 2021, a statement was posted to DONGKIZ's fan cafe stating that Mun Ik would be going on hiatus due to psychological anxiety issues.[3]
