Minchan (민찬) is a South Korean singer-songwriter and video director under Jellyfish Entertainment. He is a member of the boy group VERIVERY.

2018: VERIVERY[]
Minchan was introduced as the first member of VERIVERY on September 3, 2018, with a short video followed by two reveal photos and a behind the scenes video.[2][3][4] on January 9, 2019, he then made his debut with the group's debut mini album Veri-Us.

Health[]
On October 26, 2020, Jellyfish released a statement that while promoting Face Us, Minchan's health had worsened. It was revealed that he had visited a medical institution to receive therapy and medication for his symptoms of anxiety. Because of this, Minchan would be on a temporary hiatus so that he can recover.[5]
On May 31, 2021, Jellyfish announced Minchan's return after an 8-month hiatus.[6]
On November 26, 2022, Jellyfish announced that Minchan would be taking a break from activities due to health concerns.[7] On December 7, 2022, Jellyfish announced that Minchan would be going on a temporary second hiatus from activities following health concerns.[8]
Controversy[]
On January 6, 2022, during a livestream on V Live, Minchan made a comment on a former classmates' appearance. He then apologized on Twitter on January 8, stating that he will be apologizing to her.[9]
