In August 2019, she was added to ILUV through the group's "Dream and Challenge" project. She made her official debut as a member on November 11 with the group's second digital single "Open The Door".
On July 12, 2020, Min Ah announced via her Instagram account that she had finally terminated her contract with WKS ENE after many failed attempts.[3] Her lawyer confirmed they were able to terminate her contract based on the fact that WKS ENE did not fulfill their obligations towards her.[4]
On July 24, 2021, Min Ah announced she had decided to quit the idol life. She instead switched to a major in psychology as she wants to help people who are in similar situations to hers.[5]

Health[]
On July 12, 2020, she revealed through a video posted on her YouTube channel that she has been diagnosed with depression, panic disorder, and insomnia.[6] Through an Instagram post, she also revealed she is struggling with her mental health but had no intention of giving up on the entertainment industry.[3]

Bullying allegations against ILUV members[]
On July 13, 2020, Min Ah made multiple posts to her Instagram story as well as messaging fans that all of the other ILUV members (besides Soo Yeon) had physically and mentally bullied her. She also revealed that some of these members were preparing to debut in WKS ENE's new group, BOTOPASS.[10][11] On July 14, she made an Instagram post saying WKS ENE called her, advising her to keep this case as a secret. In response, she said she would not do that, and that she wanted an apology.[12]
In the early hours of July 15, Min Ah started a live on Instagram that was completely blacked out except for the goodbye. She later posted a video to her YouTube channel revealing she had gone to Han River with the intention of taking her own life but was saved by a police officer.[13]
