MikaL, also known as Mika (미카) and formerly known as White (화이트), is a South Korean singer under Rise Communication. He is a former member of the boy groups Singing In The Rain, XING and DGNA, as well as their sub-units XING HARMONY, XING ARIA and Popsicle.

He made his solo debut with the digital single "Wake Up" on December 20, 2024.

Career[]

2007: Singing In The Rain[]

In 2007, he was a part of XING Entertainment's boy group Singing In The Rain. However, the group was cancelled as the members were transferred to XING.

2008–2009: XING, XING HARMONY, XING ARIA[]

In December 2008, he was introduced as a new member of XING, under the stage name White. He later made his debut as a part of the group's third generation lineup, with the release of their second single album "My Girl" on March 14, 2008.

During his time in the group, he was also a part of their sub-units XING HARMONY and XING ARIA.

He presumably left the group in 2009, before the introduction of their fifth generation lineup in December of the same year.

2010–2018: DGNA, Popsicle[]

On March 4, 2010, he debuted as a member of DGNA with their first single album "Admiring Boy", under the stage name Mika.

On January 13, 2011, he debuted as a member of their first sub-unit Popsicle with their self-titled single "Popsicle”.

In 2018, he announced his departure from the group during their indefinitive hiatus.

2024-present: Solo debut with "Wake Up"[]

On January 22, 2024, he announced his return to the industry under the stage name MikaL and would be focusing on promotions in Japan.[1]

On December 20, he made his solo debut with the Japanese digital single "Wake Up".
