Meanu (민유) is a South Korean singer under Chrome Entertainment. She is the former maknae of the girl group FAINIT.
Career[]
2022: FAINIT[]
On March 15, 2022, it was announced Meanu had passed the auditions for FAINIT Company.[1] On June 4, Meanu was subsequently revealed as a member of the upcoming girl group FAINIT through the release of their debut release concept photos.[2][3] They debuted on June 13, 2022 with their first single album "Killer".
On September 22, 2022, it was revealed by a friend of one of the members that FAINIT has disbanded in less than a month after the group has gone inactive since July 8.[4]
2022-present: New agency[]
On January 4, 2023, former FAINIT member Liha posted an Instagram story showing her, alongside fellow members Idam and Seoa in Chrome Entertainment's practice room, hinting that they have joined the agency in late 2022.[5]
Trivia[]
- Meanu, like Seoa, used to train at KD Dance Academy. Through this academy, she auditioned for the group.[1]
