May (Korean: 메이; Chinese: 梅一; Japanese: メイ) is a Japanese model and former singer under Incent Group. She is a former member of the girl group Cherry Bullet.
She is also known for participating in Mnet's reality survival show Girls Planet 999.
Career[]
2018–2019: Debut with Cherry Bullet[]
On November 21, 2018, May was revealed as the second member of Cherry Bullet.[1] The group officially debuted on January 21, 2019 with their first single album "Let's Play Cherry Bullet".
2021: Girls Planet 999[]
On July 7, she was confirmed as a contestant on Mnet's newest reality show Girls Planet 999, along with the other participating trainees, through the prologue trailer.[2] Her official profile was released on July 19.[3][4] Unfortunately, on the 11th episode, which was aired on October 15, May was revealed to have been eliminated following the third round of eliminations.[5]
2024: Cherry Bullet's disbandment, new agency[]
On April 22, FNC Entertainment announced that Cherry Bullet had effectively disbanded after May and three other members had terminated their exclusive contracts with the agency.[6]
On October 1, May announced that she has signed with Incent Group to work as a model.[7]
