Mashiro (Korean: 마시로; Japanese: 舞白) is a Japanese singer and lyricist under 143 Entertainment. She is the leader of the girl group MADEIN and former member of the project girl group Kep1er.

Career

2016–2018: JYP Entertainment

Mashiro became a trainee under JYP Entertainment sometime in 2016 and trained for 2 years with the label until her departure in 2018.

2021–2024: Girls Planet 999, Kep1er

On May 26, 2021, 143 Entertainment revealed Mashiro as a trainee under their label.

On July 7, Mashiro was confirmed as an upcoming contestant on Mnet's newest reality show, Girls Planet 999, along with the other participating trainees, through the prologue trailer. Her official profile was released on July 19. The show began airing on August 6 and finished on October 22. During the show's finale, she was revealed to have ranked 8th overall, thus making her a member of Kep1er.

On January 3, 2022, she made her debut in the group with the release of their debut mini album First Impact.

On May 30, 2024, WAKEONE announced that Mashiro, along with Yeseo, would be leaving Kep1er after the group's upcoming Japanese concert. Both are expected to join their agency's girl group LIMELIGHT.

2024: Debut with MADEIN

On July 16, 143 Entertainment announced that she and Yeseo would re-debut as members of their girl group MADEIN in September. She was officially introduced as a member on July 29. They made their debut on September 3, 2024 with the EP Rise.
