Map Of The Soul ON:E is the second online concert held by BTS. It was held on October 10, 2020 at 7PM KST and on October 11, 2020 at 4PM KST at KSPO Dome online via Kiswe.
The concerts were originally planned to be held both in-person and online, but due to the ongoing spread of COVID-19, it was only held online.[1]
Background[]
It was initially intended to have both a limited number of in-person tickets with a simultaneous online livestream, but Big Hit Entertainment later cancelled the offline portion of the concert due to tightened COVID-19 pandemic government restrictions.[2]
It was re-streamed on October 11 (Day 1) and 12 (Day 2), 2020. The concerts had a record-breaking 993,000 paid viewers from a total of 191 regions.[3]
The concert was released in DVD on September 9, 2021 and in Blu-ray on October 12, 2021.
