MY.st (Korean: 마이스트; Japanese: マイストゥ) was a five-member boy group under MYstar Entertainment and MY Entertainment. They first debuted in Japan on August 12, 2018 with the mini album Boy N Girl and made their Korean debut on March 26, 2020 with the mini album The Glow : Eden.

On July 17, 2021, Keonwoo revealed that the group had disbanded.[1]

2018–2020: Japan promotions[]

They officially made their debut on August 12, 2018 with the mini album Boy N Girl.

On June 15, 2019 they released their second mini album titled モラソクレ.

2020–2021: Korean debut, first comeback, and disbandment[]

On February 7, 2020, MY.st uploaded a picture to their Instagram tagged "coming soon".[2] Nearly two weeks later, on February 28, 2020, the group posted a teaser photo for their debut with "Eden" on their social media.[3] The same day, the company shared with the press they were planning to debut in March, but didn't reveal an exact date nor the format of their debut.[4] On the midnight of March 12, 2020, the group's debut schedule was released.[5] Their debut mini album , The Glow : Eden, was released on March 26, 2020.

On February 24, 2021, a comeback schedule was released for MY.st's first single album "The Glow : Illusion", to be released on March 16.[6]

On July 10, 2021, Lee Minho revealed on Instagram that he had left the group.[7]

On July 17, 2021, Kim Keonwoo revealed through his Instagram that the group had disbanded due various reasons including their agency's financial and credit problems. He revealed that many of the agency's employees, hair/makeup staff, stylists, choreographers, composers, and dorm owner hadn't received any money from MYstar. When Keonwoo told the agency he wanted to quit, MYstar explained they would only terminate the contract if he returned all the money they spent for the group. The group also did not had proper lessons due to moving practice rooms every time, and had improper accommodations including rent being pushed, using cold water in the winter, gas being cut off, and being kicked out. As a result, Keonwoo developed severe depression, bipolar disorder, medical problems, and has to go to a psychiatrist every week to receive medication and psychotherapy.[1]
