Music&NEW (뮤직앤뉴; also know as MUSIC&NEW) is a South Korean entertainment company that specialized in music production and distribution. They are a subsidiary of Next Entertainment World.
History[]
2009–2012: Taillrun's Media[]
MUSIC&NEW was originally founded on April 2, 2009 as Taillrun's Media. In January 2012, Next Entertainment World acquired the company, and it was defunct.[1]
2012: Rebranding[]
In April 2012, it was announced that they would be renaming from MUSIC&NEW.[2] That year, the company hosted the "I am a musician" project with Soribada, which seeks to find new composers.[3]
In 2018, LOEN Entertainment was replaced by Windmill Media in content distribution, conducted through a self-release system, was acquired in November 2017 and merged in June 2018. Mirrorball Music was acquired in the second half of 2019.[4]
