MRSHLL (마샬) is a Korean-American singer-songwriter. He made his debut on June 5, 2018 with the mini album Breathe.
He is the first openly gay Kpop artist, coming out in an interview in 2015.
Career[]
2017–present: Solo activities[]
MRSHLL released his first music in March 2017, co-writing and singing on two tracks for DJ Friz's album The Record, Vol. R . He soon signed to Tiger JK and Yoon Mirae's record label, FeelGhood Music later that year and became the first openly gay artist to appear on Korean national TV, singing his part in the single "Again" which he co-wrote with 3rd place contestant Woo on season six of hip hop competition program, Show Me The Money 6.
He finally released his much anticipated solo mini-album Breathe on June 5, 2018. He subsequently released a mixtape, Alien Issa Mixtape later that year featuring the title track "Rull It Out" featuring miss A's Min and AOMG rapper Ugly Duck.
After a slew of features and collaborative albums, he released a solo single "Mirage / Caress" in late January 2020.
