MAMAMOO+ (마마무+) is the first subunit of the girl group MAMAMOO. They debuted on August 30, 2022 with the digital single "Better".

History[]

2022: Debut with "Better"[]

On August 22, RBW confirmed that MAMAMOO members Solar and Moon Byul are planning to release an album as the group's first unit.^[1] On August 23, they dropped the first teaser for the unit, which officially debuted on August 30 with the digital single "Better".^[2]

2023: "Act 1, Scene 1", Two Rabbits[]

On February 21, Xportsnews reported that the subunit would be making a comeback in March.^[3] RBW later confirmed the news with TV Report.^[4] On March 9, it was announced that MAMAMOO+ would be releasing their first single album, "Act 1, Scene 1", on March 29.^[5] The single "Chico Malo" was pre-released on March 21.

On July 7, RBW confirmed that MAMAMOO+ will be coming back in August.^[6] On July 12, it was announced that MAMAMOO+ will be releasing their first mini album, Two Rabbits, on August 3.^[7] The single "Save Me" would be pre-released on July 18.
