"Luminous" is the second Japanese single by LOONA. It was released on September 28, 2022 with "Luminous" serving as the single's title track.
Member Chuu did not participate in the album's promotions due to her predetermined individual schedule for the latter half of the year.[1] She subsequently was removed from the group on November 25, 2022.[2]
"Sick Love" was pre-released as a digital single on September 5, 2022.[3] The title track, "Luminous", was pre-released digitally on September 13, 2022.[4]
The physical release comes in 24 versions: Regular Edition, Limited Edition, 11 Solo Editions (one for each member) and 11 Orbit Japan Limited Editions (one for each member)
Background[]
On July 25, 2022, it was revealed that their new song "Sick Love", performed by their sub-unit ODD EYE CIRCLE (plus HeeJin), had been decided as the ending theme song for the MBS/TBS drama What Six Survivors Told (生き残った6人によると), which begin airing on September 8.[5]
