Lucid (루시드) is a ten member project girl group under Rainbow E&M. Consisting of members from Amber, Memoria, and Stars, the group debuted on July 7, 2023, with the single "Shine On Me".[1]

History[]

2023-present: Debut with "Shine On Me"[]

In 2020, Rainbow Company (later known as Rainbow E&M) created Future Idol, an idol development project for the purpose of debuting various project idol groups throughout 2021, 2022 and 2023 through its project, known as 'Future Idol Asia'. On July 1, 2023, Future Idol revealed Lucid as one of the idol groups formed in 2023 which were not previously part of their first or second Future Idol showcase. The same day, Lucid released a teaser video revealing their debut date to be on July 7, 2023, with the single "Shine On Me".[2]
