On January 2, 2023, a coming soon poster was released announcing Yena's comeback on January 16, 2023.^[1] The next day, it was revealed that she will be releasing her first single album, "Love War".^[2]

Commercial performance[]

Circle Chart reported that Love War sold 97,906 copies during the week of January 15 to January 21.^[3] In the monthly update for January, Circle Chart reported that Love War sold 108,646 copies during the month.^[4]
