Lia (Korean: 리아; Japanese: リア) is a South Korean singer under JYP Entertainment. She is the main vocalist of the girl group ITZY.
Career
2019: Debut with ITZY
On January 20, she was revealed, along with her fellow members, as a member of ITZY, JYP Entertainment's newest girl group. They debuted on February 12 with the digital single "IT'z Different".
2022: "Always Be Your Star", "Blue Flower"
Lia released the tracks "Always Be Your Star" and "Blue Flower" for the South Korean dramas The Red Sleeve and Alchemy of Souls 2, respectively.
2023: "One Hundred Love"
On May 26, 2023, Lia released the track "One Hundred Love" as part of the original soundtrack of the South Korean drama Dr. Romantic 3.

Education
On February 12, 2019, she graduated from School of Performing Arts Seoul.[1]
Hiatus
On September 18, 2023, JYP Entertainment announced that Lia would be going on hiatus temporarily due to symptoms of extreme tension and anxiety.[2] On November 17, JYP Entertainment announced that due to Lia's hiatus, she will be absent from their new album's production on January 2024 and their world tour.[3]
