Lew (Korean: 루, Japanese: ルー), also known as Eui Woong (의웅), is a South Korean singer, rapper and lyricist under Yue Hua Entertainment. He is the leader of the boy group TEMPEST and a former member of the duo HyeongseopXEuiwoong.
Career[]
2016-2017: Pre-debut, Produce 101 Season 2[]
On March 7, 2016, Eui Woong made his first public appearance as a guest on the 265th episode of KBS2's talk show Hello Counselor.
In 2017, he became a contestant on Produce 101 Season 2, where he would go on to represent Yue Hua Entertainment. Unfortunately though, during the fifth episode of the show, he was eliminated and ranked 23rd overall.
2017-2021: HyeongseopXEuiwoong[]
On October 18, it was revealed that he, along with fellow Produce 101 Season 2 contestant and labelmate Ahn Hyeong Seop, would be debuting in a duo named HyeongseopXEuiwoong. The duo officially debuted on November 2 with the debut single album "The Moment of Memory".
The duo presumably disbanded sometimes in August 2021.
2022: Debut with TEMPEST[]
On October 4, 2021, Star News reported that Eui Woong would be debuting in Yue Hua Entertainment's new boy group, TEMPEST, during the second half of 2021.[1] On January 3, 2022, he was introduced through TEMPEST's official Twitter profile as the first member of the group under the stage name, Lew.[2] They debuted on March 2, 2022 with the mini album It's Me, It's We.
