Lee Seung Woo (Korean: 이승우; Japanese: イ・スンウ) is a South Korean singer-songwriter under SoulstaR Company and Think About Entertainment. He is the vocalist of the boy group SoulstaR and representative of their agency.

Career[]

2005: Debut with SoulstaR[]

He debuted as a member of SoulstaR on June 1, 2005 with the group's first studio album Soulstar.[1]

2019, 2021: King of Mask Singer[]

On December 1, 2019, he appeared in the singing competition show King of Mask Singer as the masked singer 'Yu Sanseul' and sang Eru's "Black Glasses", received 52 votes.[2] On December 8, 2019, it was performed BTS's "Boy With Luv" and Hwayobi's "Then Something", receiving 65 and 76 votes, respectively.[3] He lost in the final round with a sixty five-vote difference.[4]

On September 26, 2021, the singer appeared again, but with his older sister Lee Ji Young, member of the female vocal group Big Mama, under the pseudonym 'Sibling Rebellion'.[5] They sang Shin Hyo Bum's "I Knew that I Love You" and Zhang Liyin's "Timeless", receiving 17 and 15 votes, respectively.[6] The duo won the final round on October 3, singing Koreana's "Hand in Hand", with a fifteen-vote difference.[7] The winners revealed their identities through a special presentation at the beginning of episode 327, which was broadcast on October 17, 2021.[8]
