Jung Yeop was under fire after verbally abusing and assaulting INFINITE's Woo Hyun during an Instagram Live on July 13, 2020 while intoxicated. The live was hosted by Woo Hyun and featured fellow member Sung Kyu and their CEO. During the broadcast, Jung Yeop ended up intoxicated and began berating Woo Hyun for his weight, calling him ugly, and hitting him with a hat. The following day, he released a statement, apologizing for his conduct during the broadcast.[1]
