Lee Ju Yeon (이주연, also known as Juyeon or Jooyeon) is a South Korean singer and actress under MYSTIC Actors. She is a former member of the girl group After School and their sub-unit After School Blue.
Career
2009–2015: After School
She debuted as a member of After School in the group's original lineup, with the group's first single album "New Schoolgirl".
On July 20, 2011, she debuted as a member of the sub-unit After School Blue with the single "Wonder Boy".
On December 31, 2014, she announced her graduation from After School following five years of activities.[1] She, along with Jung Ah, were the only members to participate in all of After School's promotions.
2015–present: Acting career
On January 18, 2015, it was announced she had signed with Better ENT as an actress.[2] Her contract with the agency expired in 2018, and she decided to renew.
As of January 2019, Lee Ju Yeon is signed under MYSTIC Actors, a division of MYSTIC Story.[3]
