Lee Jin Hyuk (이진혁; formerly known as Wei (웨이)) is a South Korean singer-songwriter, rapper, and actor under Bill Entertainment. He is a former member of the boy group UP10TION.

He made his solo debut on November 4, 2019 with the mini album S.O.L.

Career[]

2015: Debut with UP10TION[]

On September 5, 2015, Lee Jin Hyuk's, then known as Wei, teaser photos for UP10TION's then upcoming debut was released.[2] On September 10, he debuted as a member of UP10TION with their debut mini album Top Secret.

2019: Produce X 101, solo debut[]

In 2019, he, along with fellow member Wooshin, participated in Mnet's boy group survival show Produce X 101. He was eliminated in the finale after finishing in 12th place.[3]

On November 1, TOP Media confirmed that he will be making his solo debut.[4] His first mini album S.O.L was released on November 4, 2019.

2020: Splash![]

On June 7, he announced that he would be making his first-ever solo comeback with his second mini album Splash!, which was released on June 30.[5]

2021: Scene26, Ctrl+V[]

On March 18, Jin Hyuk announced his third mini album Scene26, which was released on April 5.[6]

On September 28, he announced his fourth mini album Ctrl+V, which was released on October 18.[7]

2022: 9low on top, 5ight[]

On June 29, it was announced that he would be one of the three Korean mentors of the Thai reality survival show 9low on top, alongside fellow UP10TION member Kim Woo Seok and soloist Minzy.[8]

On August 4, Jin Hyuk confirmed his return with his fifth mini album 5ight, which was released on August 29.[9]

2023: Departure from UP10TION and TOP Media, new agency[]

On February 28, it was announced that Jin Hyuk would be leaving UP10TION and TOP Media following the termination of his exclusive contract with the agency on March 11.[10]

On March 27, Bill Entertainment announced they signed an exclusive contract with Jin Hyuk.[11]

2024: New Quest: Jungle[]

On April 1, it was reported that Lee Jin Hyuk will be having a comeback later this month.[12] A few days later, it was announced that he would release his sixth mini album New Quest: Jungle on April 23.[13]

2025: "D - XXXX"[]

On April 22, he released a teaser photo for his first digital single "D - XXXX", scheduled for release on April 26.[14]
