Career[]
2018–2020: A Train to Autumn, The Voice of Korea 2020[]
After being introduced as a member of A Train to Autumn, together with her band-mates, she recorded the group's pre-debut digital single "A Watercolor of a Rainy Day". Later on, A Young officially debuted in the group with their second digital single "That Season You Were In" on November 5, 2018.
Unfortunately, the girl group presumably disbanded after their profile was removed from Cube's website sometime in 2020.
After leaving the girl group, A Young appeared as a contestant on the Mnet survival show The Voice of Korea 2020.
On June 19, for her blind audition, she performed "Clockwork" by Lim Jeong Hee in the fourth episode.[1] She received a chair turn from the coach Sung Si Kyung and became one of the eight contestants to join his team.
On July 3, she performed "Whenever It Rains" by Jahwasang in the sixth episode with Lee Ji Hye during the battle round.[2] She was eliminated after Sung Si Kyung chose Lee Ji Hye as the winner of the battle.
2021: Solo debut with "We Already Broke Up"[]
Sometime in 2021, A Young joined PIG Entertainment and made her debut as a soloist singer on November 27, 2021 with the digital single "We Already Broke Up". She left the agency sometime in 2024 or earlier.
2025: Undercover[]
On January 12, 2025, she was shown as a contestant in the first episode of the ENA survival show Undercover.[3]
On February 9, in the fifth episode, it was revealed that she passed the first round after performing "Love, ing" by Ben. During the second round, she performed "Don't Go, Don't Go" by Brown Eyes with Kang Min Seok, Migyo, and KEJIMIN.[4] She was eliminated after she did not receive a pass to the third round.[5]
