Leader'S G (리더스 G) was a sub-unit of Leader'S under TGN Entertainment.

The sub-unit was formed in October 2011. They were active for 2 years before all of the members left the main group in 2012 and officially disbanded in 2015 as Leader'S abandoned the sub-units concept.

History[]

2011-2015: Formation, lineup changes & disbandment[]

In September 2011, TGN Entertainment announced that they would be holding auditions for Leader'S II, a counterpart of Leader'S with an innocent and cute concept. Sometime later, the agency posted a photo of Leader'S II, revealing Sally, Geonhye, Aeni, Yejin, and Danbi as members. However, the project later became inactive and was assumed to have been scrapped.[citation needed]

In October 2011, the agency announced that Leader'S would be re-organized into a 24-member group with 3 sub-units, one of which being Leader'S G.[1]

On December 16, 2011, Leader'S revealed the lineup for their upcoming sub-unit Leader'S G, consisting of Leader'S II trainees: Sally, Geonhye, Aeni, Yejin, Danbi and three new members: Habin, Soyoung, and Minhee.[2]

Sometime after the SCENTIMOR & LEADER'S showcase, Aeni departed from Leader'S and Habin transferred to Leader'S N.

By the end of 2012, all of the members of the sub-unit had left the group. While there were plans to revive the sub-unit, it never materialized as Leader'S abandoned the sub-unit concept in 2015.[3][4]
