LUV (러브) was a three-member girl group under SidusHQ. They debuted in May 2002 with the studio album Story-Orange Girl. They disbanded the following year, in 2003.

Their group name was an abbreviation of "Love yoUr Voice".

History[]

2002–2003[]

LUV was formed sometime in 2002 or earlier by SidusHQ with members Bin, Eunbyeol and Haetnim. As a girl group, they made their official debut in May 2002 with the release of the studio album Story-Orange Girl.

Their debut was unfortunately poorly received and coincided with the 2002 FIFA World Cup which was hosted from May to June in South Korea and Japan.

They eventually disbanded sometime in 2003.

Aftermath[]

Following LUV's disbandment, all three members went their separate ways:

  • Bin moved to a new agency and made her debut as a soloist singer on July 31, 2003 with the digital single, "Love Somebody". She has also since become an actress.
  • Eunbyeol also moved to a new agency and made her debut as a soloist singer under the stage name 'LEEBIE' on October 26, 2009 with the digital single, "Just for Today".[1]. She later re-debuted in the girl group Second; she joined the group for their second digital single, "Kiss Me Please", released on April 5, 2018. In 2019, she also became a contestant on the trot competitive show, Miss Trot.
  • Haetnim later made an acting debut under the stage name 'Oh Yeonseo'.
