2016: "Fresh Adventure", Love Sign, "Winter Story"[]

By the end of March, NH Media announced that the group would be returning with their fourth single album "Fresh Adventure" on April 6, 2016. The album was then released on April 6 with "Journey to Atlantis" as the title track to promote the album.

The group then released their first mini album Love Sign on August 23, 2016. It was intended to be released as their fifth single album before it was upgraded to a mini album.

"Winter Story", LABOUM's special digital single, was released on December 2.

The group released their second digital single "LABOUM Summer Special" on July 25, 2017.

On November 3, it was reported that Yulhee had officially left LABOUM and NH Media after deciding to terminate her exclusive contract.[1]

ZN finished in 8th place on the rebooting survival show The Unit, and debuted as a member of UNI.T with their first mini album Line. However, she did not participate in their comeback album Begin with the End due to schedule conflicts between UNI.T and LABOUM's activites.[2]

On July 9, 2018, a teaser image was released announcing that LABOUM would be releasing their fifth single album "Between Us" on July 27.

The group made their Japanese debut under Nippon Colombia with the single "Hwi Hwi" on November 7, 2018.

In late November, it was announced that the group is set to make a comeback with their sixth single album "I'm Yours", which was released on December 5.

In addition, she also revealed that the other four members of the group had renewed their contracts and would be continuing as LABOUM.[4]

On September 9, a day after Yujeong left LABOUM, it was reported that the group had moved to Interpark Music Plus and they would be preparing to make their long-awaited comeback with their new album.[5][6] On November 3, their third mini album Blossom was released.

2022: Planned April comeback, Dream Concert participation, group hiatus, Yujeong's return[]

On March 10, 2022, Interpark Music Plus announced that LABOUM would be making a comeback in April. However, it never materialized.[7]

On June 18, LABOUM was one of the artists that hit the Red Carpet at the 2022 Dream Concert.[8]

On August 11, it was speculated by news outlets that LABOUM would be disbanding at the end of the month due to the recent acquisition of Interpark by Yanolja, as they had no intentions to continue managing the group.[9] Later on the same day, a representative from Interpark Music Plus clarified that the group's disbandment has not been confirmed.[10] On September 23, Joynews24 reported that LABOUM would go on an indefinite hiatus to focus on individual activities.[11] Later that same day, a source close to the group told XSports News that while it was true that LABOUM had signed a contract termination with Interpark Music Plus, the group has not disbanded as the members are still interested in conducting group activities alongside their individual activities. It was also revealed that they would be able to continue under the "LABOUM" name after leaving their agency.[12]

On November 26, Yujeong, who initially left the group in September 2021, participated in Soyeon's solo fanmeeting, which unofficially confirms that she has rejoined LABOUM. She also revealed that the group will be having a mini concert held on February 23, 2023.
