Kohyeon (고현) is a South Korean singer under HOWLING Entertainment. He is the leader of the boy group WAKER and one half of the duo LuhaxHyeon. He is also a former member of the pre-debut boy group Ten-X and boy group 14U.
He made his solo debut on August 23, 2021 with the digital single "Don't Laugh".
Career[]
2017–2019: 14U[]
On July 22, 2017, Go Hyeon made his debut in the boy group 14U with the single album "VVV". He was a member of the group until their disbandment on May 13, 2019.[1]
2020–2021: Ten-X[]
On June 29, 2020, Go Hyeon was introduced as a member of the then upcoming boy group Ten-X.[2]
Unfortunately, on April 18, 2021, the group announced via a statement on Twitter, that due to the ongoing COVID-19 situation, it was becoming more and more difficult to debut. Because of this, Blue Creative Entertainment has decided to terminate the members' contracts, including Luha's, thus disbanding Ten-X.[3]
2021–2022: Solo debut with "Don't Laugh", LuhaxHyeon[]
On August 23, 2021, Go Hyeon made his solo debut with his first digital single "Don't Laugh".
Later, he and Luha formed a duo called LuhaxHyeon that made their debut with their first digital single "You, Me = Us" on January 13, 2022.
2023–2024: Debut with WAKER[]
On November 13, 2023, he was revealed as a member of the upcoming boy group WAKER.[4] They made their debut on January 8, 2024 with the mini album Mission of School.
