Kitten Girls (키튼걸스) were a three-member girl group under Stone Entertainment. They officially debuted on September 4, 2018, with the single "U Me Us".

They presumably disbanded in 2019, after Hongrang had her solo debut and the group's social media accounts stayed inactive.

They got their name from their concept "naughty baby cat", which has to do with all their members being under 160cm.

History[]

2017–2018: Pre-debut[]

Originally a three-member girl group consisting of Yesol, Hongrang, and Jooeun, Kitten Girls was introduced in later 2017 by Wannabe Academy.[1][2] That year they kicked off with promoting their song "Love Pops" in China. They were planning to do domestic promotions with "Love Pops" as well, but for unknown reasons, never did.[3]

Around April 2018, a new member was introduced to the group: YeA[4] This line-up recorded the group's debut song "U Me Us" and started promoting it around August before it would be officially released in September.[5]

2018–2019: Debut, line-up change, and auditions[]

On September 4, 2018, Kitten Girls officially made their debut and released a music video for "U Me Us" on September 5.

In October, it became clear Kitten Girls had had a line-up change. The group appeared on Arirang's Pops in Seoul with new member Gabin. Juuny seemed to have left the group at that point.[6]

But Gabin didn't stay that long either. In November 2018, Stone Entertainment held an audition to look for new members for Kitten Girls.[7] Around the same time, Gabin stopped interacting on their group social media accounts.
