Kim Young Seok (김영석) is a South Korean singer under 2nd Floor Record. He debuted as a soloist on June 8, 2024 with the digital single "A Dream of a Doll". He is a former member of the trainee group KQ Fellaz.

He is best known for being a former contestant on the reality music survival shows Under Nineteen, LOUD and Vocal Showdown.

Career[]

2018–2019: Under Nineteen[]

On October 25, 2018, Kim Seok Young was introduced as a contestant of Under Nineteen with his moving poster. The poster revealed that he was a part of the vocal team.[1] However, he was eliminated in episode 12 ranking 11 in vocal team.

2020: Agency changes, KQ Fellaz[]

Sometime in 2020, Young Seok left KQ Entertainment and their trainee group KQ Fellaz. He then went onto join Brand New Music as a trainee.

2021: LOUD[]

On May 20, he was revealed as a contestant for SBS's audition show LOUD.[2] Unfortunately, he was eliminated during the first round and was unable to move on.[3]

Sometime after LOUD, Young Seok departed from Brand New Music.

2023–present: Vocal Showdown, Solo debut[]

In October 2024, he was introduced as a contestant on Mnet's reality music survival show Vocal Showdown. He was eventually eliminated from the competition.

On June 8, 2024, Young Seok made his solo debut under 2nd Floor Record with the digital single "A Dream of a Doll".[4]
