Kim Yo Han (김요한; キム ヨハン; or simply Yohan) is a South Korean singer, rapper, lyricist and actor under OUI Entertainment. He is a member of the boy group WEi and a former member of the project boy group X1.
He made his solo debut on August 25, 2020 with the digital single "No More".
Career
2019–2020: Produce X 101, X1
In 2019, he participated in Mnet's boy group survival show Produce X 101 representing OUI Entertainment. He finished in first place, thus becoming the center of X1.[2] The group officially debuted on August 27, 2019 with the mini album, 비상 : Quantum Leap.
However, on January 6, 2020, the agencies representing the members announced the group has disbanded due to not being able to reach an unanimous agreement following the Produce 101 vote manipulation controversy.[3]
2020 (1): Solo debut
On August 17, it was announced that Kim Yo Han will make his solo debut on August 25 with the digital single "No More". Concept photos were released from August 18 to August 20 with the first music video teaser being released on the August 21.[4]
2020 (2): Debut with WEi
On July 10, OUI Entertainment announced that he would be part of their upcoming boy group, WEi.[5] They made their debut on October 5, 2020 with their first mini album Identity : First Sight.
2022: Illusion
On December 27, 2021, it was announced that Yohan would be making his first solo comeback with the release of his first mini album Illusion on January 10, 2022.[6]
2023: "Blue in You"
On September 8, 2023, it was announced that Yohan would release his second digital single "Blue in You" on September 22, duetting with CHEEZE.[7]
