Kim Yehyeon (예현), formerly known as Bomin (보민) and Jein (제인), is a South Korean actress and former singer and rapper. She is a former member of the girl groups REDSQUARE and GOOD DAY and the dance crew ALDL.
Career[]
2017–2019: GOOD DAY[]
On July 10, 2017, she was introduced as a member of C9 Entertainment's newest girl group GOOD DAY.[1] They debuted on August 30, 2017, with their first mini album All Day Good Day.[2]
GOOD DAY presumably disbanded sometime in 2019.
2020–2022: REDSQUARE[]
On April 16, 2020, using the initial 'B', she was revealed as the fourth member of REDSQUARE.[3] On May 4, her profile photo was revealed.[4] The group officially debuted on May 19 with their first single album "Prequel".[5]
On March 9, 2022, she announced through her personal Instagram that she had changed her name from Bomin to Yehyeon.[6]
2022: ALDL[]
On July 11, 2022, she was revealed as a member of the dance girl group ALDL under the stage name Jein.[7]
However, by late 2022, she had departed from the girl group. Around this time, she also revealed that she become a university student. She rebranded across her SNS to be the online clothes seller 'HI:IM' (하이아임), a business created and operated by herself.[8]

On February 25, 2021, Yehyeon graduated from the School of Performing Arts Seoul (SOPA), where she was a student of the Theater and Film department.[9]
On December 2, 2022, Yehyeon shared via an Instagram story that she had been accepted to Dongguk University where she is majoring in the Theater department.[10]
