2020: Controversy

On September 8, 2020, an anonymous user used a Twitter account to report that she had been harassed by an idol in a bar. According to the victim, even after she said she had a boyfriend, the idol insisted on continuing the conversation and when she tried to leave, he grabbed her by the wrist and only released her when she screamed. The account also released some clues that led Internet users to believe that it was Kim Woo Jin. Later on the same day, Woojin took his social medias accounts to say that he was aware of the accusations and were not true; he also took the opportunity to announce that he was preparing for solo activities under a newly formed agency.[3]

A few hours later, 10x Entertainment reported that they were taking legal action against the allegations and that they had evidence that Woojin was at his home on the alleged day.[4][5]
