2023–2025: Introduction and debut with NEWBEAT[]
On August 23, 2023, Taeyang was introduced as a member of the upcoming boy group HinLOVE (now known as NEWBEAT). They made their debut on March 24, 2025 with the full-length album Raw and Rad.

On May 21, 2025, Beat Interactive announced that Taeyang was diagnosed with a mild rib injury after experiencing chest pain during practice. As a result, he will not be joining performances involving intense choreography for the time being.[1]
