Kang Seok Hwa (강석화; カン ソクファ; or simply Seokhwa) is a South Korean singer and lyricist under OUI Entertainment. He is a member of the boy group WEi.
He is best known for being a contestant on the reality survival show YG Treasure Box, Produce X 101 and Build Up : Vocal Boy Group Survivor
Career[]
2018–2019: YG Treasure Box, Produce X 101[]
In 2018, he participated in YG Entertainment's survival show YG Treasure Box, but was eliminated in episode 9.
Following the show's conclusion, he left YG and joined Produce X 101 as an independent trainee, but was eliminated in episode 8 and finished in 35th place.
Later, OUI Entertainment announced on August 20, 2019 that Seokhwa had signed with them.[1]
2020: Debut with WEi[]
On July 10, OUI Entertainment announced that he will be part of their upcoming boy group, WEi.[2] They made their debut on October 5, 2020 with their first mini album Identity: First Sight.
2024: Build Up : Vocal Boy Group Survivor[]
On January 21, it was confirmed that Kang Seok Hwa would be participating in the survival program Build Up : Vocal Boy Group Survivor.[3]
