Kang Hayoon (강하윤) is a South Korean singer and dancer under LYNNA Entertainment. He is the maknae of the project boy group WATERFIRE.

He is best known for being a former contestant on the survival shows LOUD, Kookmin Singer and Build Up : Vocal Boy Group Survivor.

Career[]

2021: LOUD and Kookmin Singer[]

On May 20, 2021, Ha Yoon was revealed as a contestant for SBS's audition show LOUD.^[1] Unfortunately, he was eliminated during the first round and was unable to move on.^[2]

A couple of months later in October 2021, Ha Yoon joined another competitive survival show by SBS, Kookmin Singer. He was eventually eliminated but finished within the 'Top 111' ranks (ranks after 40 for individuals were not assigned).^{[citation needed]}

2024: Build Up, WATERFIRE[]

In January 2024, he was revealed as a contestant on Mnet's reality survival show Build Up : Vocal Boy Group Survivor.^[3] The show began airing on January 26, 2024, and on its finale, on March 29, it was revealed that Hayoon's team WATERFIRE placed third rendering him eliminated.

On April 3, 2024, it was announced that WATERFIRE would be debuting as a project boy group under LYNNA Entertainment.^[4] They made their debut on May 30, 2024 with the single album "Possible".
