KAACHI (가치) was a British girl group under FrontRow Records. Originally with four members, they debuted in the United Kingdom on April 15, 2020 with their debut digital single, "Your Turn", and debuted in South Korea on April 29, 2020. The final lineup consisted of Nicole and Chunseo. On February 28, 2023 it was announced that KAACHI officially disbanded and ATTI will be a new beginning for them.
They are the first European girl group to debut as a 'k-pop group'.[1]
Career[]
2020: Debut with "Your Turn", "Photo Magic"[]
Sometime in January 2020, KAACHI was officially revealed as the first European and first British kpop girl group. They revealed their first three members, Chunseo,[2] Nicole and Dani[3] on March 28, 2020. Predebut, there were two girls who were previously part of the group lineup; KG who left for unknown reasons and was later replaced by Miso who also later left due to personal reasons.[4] She was replaced by Coco who officially became the fourth member.
On April 11, KAACHI revealed their debut digital single to be "Your Turn".[5] The single was released on April 15,[6] followed by a music video later on April 29.[7][8]
Since their introduction, KAACHI was met with harsh criticism from international fans, which soon escalated to malicious rumors spreading across social media sites. The same day they debuted, the group's manager released a Q&A video to address the malicious rumors and answer some fan questions.[4][9] This video was removed from Kaachi's YouTube on May 14, 2021, two days after the release of a video by Oli London claiming he had worked with Kaachi and FrontRow.[10][11] The members also had numerous interviews where they talked about KAACHI, their background, and addressed the rumors.[12][13]
On September 22, KAACHI announced their upcoming first comeback, "Photo Magic" which will serve as a pre-release single for an upcoming mini album.[14][15] The single was released on November 4 along with a music video.[16]
2021-2022: Spanish releases, Dani's departure, "The One Thing', "Get Up", Coco's departure[]
On June 30, the group released Spanish versions of their first two singles.[17][18]
On July 23, FrontRow Records announced Dani's departure from the group after deciding not to renew her contract. The agency is also planning to hold an audition soon.[19]
On August 19, KAACHI released their third digital single "The One Thing".
On September 2, the group released their fourth digital single "Extra Special".
On October 11, KAACHI announced their next comeback, "Get Up" which will serve as a pre-release single for an upcoming mini album. The single was released on October 25.
On August 2, 2022 they announced Coco decided to leave the group.[20]
2023: Disbandment and Aftermath[]
On February 28, 2023, KAACHI announced their official disbandment after Nicole and Chunseo decided to leave the company.[21] After the disbandment, Nicole, Chunseo (Ruth) and Coco continue to work alongside each other in their independent group ATTI.

- Their group name, KAACHI (가치) is the taken from the Korean word meaning "togetherness, value and unity".[8]
- The group members were scouted at the UK KPOP Dance Competition held in London, England in October 2019.[8]
- Nicole took classes at 1MILLION Dance Studio in 2019 before she joined KAACHI.[8][23]
- Their producer revealed that in order to join the group, all trainees had to fulfill a minimum requirement of having 5 years of experience in dancing, vocal training, media training, personality and attitude training.[4] However, this video was removed in May 2021.
- They got their own episode of True Stories by Channel 4 in May 2020.[8][24]
- The members have part-time jobs outside of the group.[13]
- Before they debuted, KG was training with KAACHI, and after she left, Miso trained with KAACHI and could be seen appearing with the group in the interview video. When Miso left, she was replaced by Coco.
