The following day, SBS News released an article explaining that both parties will be going to civil court due to very different positions over the matter. A representative from PocketDol claimed that Junwon's mother complained multiple times, including about airport fashion, not being in the center for a group photo, distribution of payments and contract negotiations.[5] Junwon, through an Instagram post, claimed that he requested changes on his contract about unfair clauses such as an unilaterally high fixed monthly fee paid by the members. He added that he lost trust in the company and ultimately decided not to proceed with the contract.[6]

On August 28, it was announced that Junwon filed for an injunction to suspend his contract citing broken trust with the company following explanations about the clauses of the contract including the company's labor cost burden.[7] Phunky Studio, the production company behind Fantasy Boys, issued a lawsuit against Junwon and asked for 3 billion won in damages following his abrupt departure.[8]
