Jungwoo (Korean: 정우; Japanese: ジョンウ) is a South Korean singer under SM Entertainment. He is a member of the boy group NCT and its sub-units NCT U, NCT 127 and NCT DOJAEJUNG.

Career

Pre-debut

In 2014, he was cast into SM Entertainment through SM Weekly Audition. On April 18, 2017, he was introduced as a member of SM's pre-debut training team, SMROOKIES. In the same month, he appeared in Yesung's "Paper Umbrella" music video, alongside SMROOKIES Koeun.

2018: Debut with NCT

In January 2018, He, alongside Kun and Lucas, were announced to become NCT members, through the NCT 2018 Yearbook.

On February 19, 2018, he officially debuted as a member of NCT, in the unit NCT U, with the song "Boss". On March 14, 2018, he participated in the NCT's first studio album NCT 2018 Empathy.

On October 12, 2018, he debuted as a member of the second unit, NCT 127, with their full-album NCT #127 Regular-Irregular.
