Jung Woncheol (Korean: 정원철; Japanese: チョン・ウォンチョル; or simply Woncheol) is a South Korean singer. He is a former member of the boy groups MY.st, A6P, and pre-debut groups HNB and MUL.

Career[]

2015–2016: A6P[]

Under the stage name Ado, he made his debut with A6P on May 20, 2015 with their first digital single "Face Off" as the mysterious member.

Unfortunately, the group was short lived as they disbanded on April 26, 2016.

2017: Produce 101 Season 2 and HNB[]

In 2017, he participated in the reality survival show Produce 101 Season 2 representing HF Music Company. However, he was eliminated in the fifth episode and ranked 95th.

On June 26, 2017, he participated in the release of the special digital single "I'm Your Light", while he was in the pre-debut group HNB.

2018–2021: MY.st[]

On August 12, 2018, he made his Japanese debut with MY.st and their first Japanese mini album Boy N Girl.

On March 26, 2020, he made his Korean debut with MY.st and the mini album The Glow : Eden.

On July 17, 2021, fellow group member Kim Keonwoo revealed the group had disbanded.[1]

2023-2024: MUL[]

On November 4, 2023, Woncheol was introduced as a member of the upcoming group MUL.[2]

On June 19, 2024, it was announced that MUL's debut had been cancelled.[3]

  • His younger brother is Jung Wonbeom, a former contestant of Under Nineteen, the survival show who formed 1THE9.
  • His hobbies include snowboarding, wakeboarding, free diving, soccer, going to escape room cafes, and watching dramas and movies.[2]
