Jung Dae Hyun (정대현; or simply Daehyun) is a South Korean singer under MA Entertainment. He is a member of the boy group BANG&JUNG&YOO&MOON (formerly B.A.P).

He made his solo debut on April 5, 2019 with the mini album Chapter2 "27".

Career[]

2012–2019: B.A.P[]

Daehyun debuted on January 26, 2012 as a member of B.A.P.

On February 17, 2019, TS Entertainment stated that the four remaining members of B.A.P have all elected to not renew their contracts with agency.[2]

2019: Solo debut[]

On April 5, Daehyun released his first solo mini album, Chapter2 "27", and its title track "You're My". The album features Jaehan of SPECTRUM.

On June 17, he signed with STX Lion Heart (now known as Lionheart Entertainment).[3]

2023: Departure from Lionheart, new agency[]

On December 5, he announced that his contract with Lionheart Entertainment has ended.[4]

On December 29, MA Entertainment announced that Jung Dae Hyun had signed with them to actively promote in diverse fields.[5]

Military service[]

On October 27, 2020, a source from Lionheart Entertainment stated that Daehyun will be quietly enlisting as an active duty soldier on November 17.[6] On September 23, it was announced that he was casted in the military musical Blue Helmet : A Song of Meissa.[7] He was discharged on May 16, 2022.[8]
