Julie (쥴리), also known by her full name Julie Han (쥴리한), is an American rapper and singer-songwriter under S2 Entertainment. She is the leader and main rapper[3] of the girl group KISS OF LIFE.
Career[]
Pre-debut[]
In December 2017, Julie became a trainee of YG Entertainment's sub-label The Black Label through an audition by Def Dance Academy.[4]
2023: Debut with KISS OF LIFE[]
In December 2022, she was featured in a German documentary about K-pop trainees along with Natty, Belle and two unknown trainees, who were speculated to be the members of S2 Entertainment's upcoming new girl group, later known as KISS OF LIFE.[5] On May 17, 2023, she was revealed as the third member of KISS OF LIFE.[6] They debuted on July 5, 2023 with the mini album KISS OF LIFE.

In December 2017, when Julie was a trainee at Def Music Academy, she was filmed covering B.o.B and Lil Wayne's "Strange Clouds", a hip-hop song which included the N-word.[7] The clip would resurface twice, being when she was introduced as a trainee of The Black Label, and when it was revealed that she would be debuting in KISS OF LIFE. Julie issued an apology 5 years later on July 22, 2023, claiming that she had educated herself, and expressed remorse to those she had offended.[8]
