Jooan (주안) is a South Korean singer-songwriter and producer. He is a former member of the boy group WE IN THE ZONE and its sub-unit JOOAN X ESON. He is also a former member of the project boy group TAN and its sub-unit kimseobanglim.
He is also a member of the producing team CIELOGROOVE.
Career[]
2019–2021: WE IN THE ZONE[]
On May 27, 2019, Jooan debuted in the group WE IN THE ZONE with the release of their self titled mini album.
On January 15, 2021, in a now deleted Instagram post, WE IN THE ZONE member Kyeongheon revealed that they had all terminated their contracts with Choon Entertainment due to internal circumstances. This was further confirmed by the deletion of the group's Instagram account and their inactivity on other SNS accounts.
2021–2024: Wild Idol, TAN[]
On August 12, 2021, he was introduced as the 34th contestant of the survival show Wild Idol.[1] During the show's finale, he was revealed to have ranked 7th overall, thus making him a member of TAN.
They debuted with their first mini album Limited Edition '1TAN' on March 10, 2022.
On June 29, 2024, leader Changsun announced on TAN's official fan cafe that the group had disbanded.[2]
On December 10, CIELOGROOVE announced that Jooan would be releasing his first special single "CIELOGROOVE 2024 Christmas" on December 16.[3]

On June 1, 2024, Jooan announced through an Instagram post that he will be enlisting in the army band in July 1.[4] He will be discharged on December 31, 2025.
