Jisung (지성) is a South Korean singer and lyricist under SM Entertainment. He is the maknae of the boy group NCT and its sub-units NCT Dream and NCT U.


Early life

Jisung was born in Seoul, South Korea on February 5, 2002.


On December 17, 2013 he was introduced as a member of SM Entertainment's pre-debut trainees program SMROOKIES. In 2014, he participated with other NCT-co members on the variety TV show Exo 90:2014 with where they performed songs from the 90s. On July 20, 2015, he appeared in TVXQ! Yunho's "Champagne" music video. In 2015, he appeared on Disney Channel Korea show The Mickey Mouse Club as a Mouseketeer alongside other SMROOKIES members. The show aired from July 23 to December 17, 2015.

2016–present: Debut with NCT

On August 25, 2016, he officially debuted as a member of the 3rd subunit NCT Dream, with the single "Chewing Gum".

On March 14, 2018, NCT released their first full album as part of a large-scale project uniting all of its subgroups - NCT 2018 Empathy.

2020: NCT U

On October 12, he made his official debut under the sub-unit NCT U, as a part of the NCT's 2020 project NCT Resonance Pt. 1, with the song "Faded In My Last Song".
