Jinusean (지누션; also stylized as JINUSEAN) is a male hip-hop duo under YG Entertainment. They officially debuted on June 14, 1997 with their debut stage on MBC's Top Music.[1]
History[]
Sean was a backup dancer for the group Seo Taiji and Boys, while Jinu made his debut as a solo artist in 1994. While returning from the United States, he and Sean were found by Yang Hyun Suk, who founded his agency, YG Entertainment, after the disbandment of Seo Taiji and Boys.[2]
After Keep Six's first performance in 1996, Jinusean was the second team produced by Yang. They debuted in 1997 with their first self-titled album, featuring the title track "Tell Me" with Uhm Jung Hwa.[3]
