Jinny (진희) is a South Korean-American rapper and singer-songwriter. She is a former member of the girl group SECRET NUMBER. She is a former member of the pre-debut team Pink Punk.
Career[]
2013–2018: YG Entertainment[]
Originally a trainee under YG Entertainment, Jinny is a pre-debut member of BLACKPINK, but was cut from the final lineup.
After five years, she left the company sometime in 2018.
2018: Produce 48[]
In 2018, following her departure from YG Entertainment, Jinny appeared on the survival show Produce 48 as an independent trainee. She was eliminated in episode 5 after ranking in 68th place.[1]
2020-2025: SECRET NUMBER[]
On December 17, 2019, she was revealed as the first member of Vine Entertainment's new girl group SECRET NUMBER.[2] The group made their debut on May 19, 2020 with the single "Who Dis?".
On April 4, 2025, Jinny announced via Instagram she left SECRET NUMBER following the termination of her contract with Vine Entertainment.[3]
