Jin Myung Jae (진명제), is a South Korean singer under Eighty6 and VENUE401 Entertainment. He is a member of the upcoming Japanese project boy group MY BOYZ, a former member of the pre-debut boy group THE BIGDIPPER and a former member of the boy group Nonstop.
He is best known for being a contestant on the survival show Fantasy Boys.
Career[]
2021–2023: Nonstop, THE BIGDIPPER, Fantasy Boys, MY BOYZ[]
On June 22, 2021, he was revealed as a member of Future Idol Asia's first boy group Nonstop as part of the seventh installment of the 'Future Idol Debut Project' which aims to debut various idol groups throughout 2021.[1][2] He was introduced late into the lineup due to several pre-debut members leaving, however, he eventually made his debut with the boy group on October 1, 2021, with the release of the digital single, "Fly Away".[3]
On April 29, 2022, it was revealed that he has joined the upcoming boy group THE BIGDIPPER after his profile photos were released.[4][5]
On February 20, 2023, JM, under his full name Jin Myung Jae, was introduced as a contestant of the MBC reality show Fantasy Boys.[6]
He was eliminated in the 10th episode, which aired on June 1, 2023, as he was one of the contestants with the least amount of votes.[7]
On October 2, 2023, he was revealed as a member of of the upcoming Japanese project boy group MY BOYZ.[8]
