Jihyo (지효) is a South Korean singer under JYP Entertainment. She is the main vocalist and leader of the girl group TWICE.

She is best known for finishing in 1st place in SIXTEEN, hence becoming a member of the girl group.

• She became a JYP trainee when she was in third grade after she won the 2nd place in a contest on Junior Naver for a child role.
• She is the Twice member who has trained the most. She trained for 10 years.
• She was voted leader by the members by anonymous voting and not JYP himself.
• Although Jihyo is left-handed, she writes and draws with her right hand. She is ambidextrous.
• Jihyo had been a trainee under JYP for over 10 years, but she was initially trained as an actress, just like Dahyun.
• Jihyo was originally set to debut in the girl group 6mix.
• She had legally changed her name from "Jisoo" to "Jihyo" before competing on SIXTEEN.
