Jia (Korean: 지아; Chinese: 祉雅; Japanese: ジア) is a South Korean rapper, dancer and singer under Pocket7 Entertainment and TOTALSET. She is a member of the girl group MIMIIROSE.
She is best known for participating in Mnet's reality survival show Girls Planet 999.
Career[]
2021: Girls Planet 999[]
On July 7, she was confirmed as a upcoming contestant on Mnet's newest reality show Girls Planet 999, along with the other participating trainees, through the prologue trailer.[2] Her official profile was released on July 17.[3][4] In the eighth episode, which was aired on September 24, it was revealed that Jia was unfortunately eliminated and had ranked K11.[5]
2022: Debut with mimiirose[]
On July 10, 2022, Yoon Jia announced through her personal Instagram that she would make her debut as a member of YES IM's upcoming girl group mimiirose.[6] They debuted on September 16, 2022 with the single album "Awesome".
2023-2024: Departure from YES IM Entertainment and new agency[]
On November 21, 2023, it was revealed that mimiirose had parted ways with YES IM Entertainment through a mutual decision.[7]
On March 26, 2024, it was announced that mimiirose has signed an exclusive contract with Pocket7 Entertainment.[8]
